Le projet de r\u00e9habilitation de l\u2019\u00c9difice comm\u00e9moratif de l\u2019Ouest, termin\u00e9 en 2024, comprenait une am\u00e9lioration parasismique du b\u00e2timent existant, sis au 344, rue Wellington, \u00e0 Ottawa, en Ontario, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Services Publics et Approvisionnement Canada. La port\u00e9e du projet incluait la mise en \u0153uvre de nouveaux murs de cisaillement, le renforcement de colonnes avec une armature avec fibres de carbone, le coulage,la finition et le resurfa\u00e7age \u00a0de dalles, de m\u00eame que la construction d\u2019une nouvelle cage d\u2019escalier et d\u2019une dalle porteuse, le tout dans le but de renforcer l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 structurale du b\u00e2timent et d\u2019augmenter sa s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en cas d\u2019activit\u00e9 sismique.<\/p>\n
