Field Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assists with updating drawings and specifications.
- Assists with schedules and monitoring performance, progress, and delays.
- Documents field records for quality, progress, production, labor, and materials.
- Assists with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.
- Documents and reviews changes as they come out, updates drawings as required.
- Prepares quantity takeoffs including concrete volume calculations.
- Assists in monitoring the quality plan including conducting quality inspections.
- Assists site supervisor with daily photos, daily reports, and daily progress on site.
- Assists site supervisor with basic safety inspections, identifies and corrects safety hazards, and leads by example in safety practices and procedures.
- Assists the project team with procurement of materials and equipment required.
- Documents engineered inspections and concrete testing reports.
- Prepares and maintains a deficiency tracking list and updates project team on progress.
- Prepares quantity takeoffs including concrete volume calculations.
- Ensures tasks given by PM, Supervisor, and Superintendent are implemented on time and with acceptable level of quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade or a related field.
- 0-1 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred.
- Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with project team including site supervisor, project manager, and foremen on site.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
